7th Grade - again, Johnny Romita painted artwork. Outside of King Kirby, Romita impacted me the most as far as, “Holy Crap! That’s awesome!”

When I got this one in 6th Grade, I sat for a full 30 minutes and just stared at the cover. Painted art by Jazzy Johnny Romita…oh yeah.

5th Grade - begged my Mom to get this for me for my birthday, to which she replied, “$5.95? For a comic book? No way!!!” I got it anyway.

Magneto by John Byrne & Terry Austin…serious eye candy. 

Yeah…no need for everything and every hero to be so freakin’ dark all the time.
